Wahlu: social media scheduling software you can run yourself or through an AI agent

Wahlu is our own SaaS product. Small businesses plan, create and publish posts for 11 social networks from one calendar. They can do it by hand, let Wahlu’s planner draft a week of posts for review, or connect their own AI agent.

Wahlu week calendar for an example café, with posts scheduled across seven networks and two held for review

The product

Wahlu publishes to Instagram, Facebook Pages, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, X, Bluesky, Telegram, Discord, Tumblr and Pinterest. Posts can be tailored for each account, saved as drafts or held for review before anything goes out.

  • A calendar across every connected account.
  • Evergreen queues that loop good posts on a schedule.
  • A planner that turns a business’s website and details into a weekly plan, then writes posts and makes images for review.
  • An editor with brand templates for single images and carousels.
  • A link-in-bio page at wahlu.me with view and click counts.

For AI agents

Wahlu runs a hosted MCP server with OAuth at mcp.wahlu.com, plus a REST API and a command-line tool. Claude, ChatGPT and other agents can list media, draft posts and schedule them, and posts can be held for a person to approve first.

How it runs

The app, marketing site and services are one TypeScript monorepo. Separate services handle the API, background work, scheduled publishing, media and the MCP server, each deployed to Google Cloud Run when its version changes. Billing runs through Stripe.
